The 2nd Brigade was originally formed with the 21st, 42nd and 53rd Batteries and was attached to the 6th Infantry Division for the whole war.
The brigade arrived in France with the B.E.F on 10 September 1914, landing at St. Nazaire.
Frank probably perished after being wounded in the last days of the Battle of the Lys.
